Pumpsim training is a great way to learn how to efficiently using Pumpsim software to help design, improve and validate important water network and pumping system decisions for the health, safety and productivity of your mine.

The Course will be presented by one of our expert engineers who have worked with Ventsim and Pumpsim for many years helping to develop and improve our software, training and consulting.

This course will educate participants in fundamental pipe flow simulation and the benefits of using Pumpsim™ for long term planning.

Using Pumpsim™, the course participants will model and simulate a wide variety of mining and water supply and dewatering scenarios.

Participants will also learn how to optimise existing pumping systems, in order to achieve considerable mine cost savings.

All participants will receive a 30 day licence of the latest version of Pumpsim™ PREMIUM and example files for course work and post course exercises.

Participants are required to bring a suitable laptop.

Course Content

• Introduction to pipe fluid flow simulation
• Concepts and theory behind simulation modelling
• Build water supply models for surface an underground operations
• Collect, transport, store water – channels, drains, tanks and dams
• Pumping water from deep mines
• Testing system to ensure capacity and redundancy
• Dynamic and programmable control simulation
• Analysing results
